The LMR Master S412E is Anritsu’s advanced handheld solution for technicians and engineers tasked with installing and maintaining LMR and PMR systems. Built on a rugged handheld platform, it integrates essential functions to support the full lifecycle of analog and digital radio systems.

With support for narrowband FM, P25, DMR, LTE, NXDN, TETRA, and even Positive Train Control (PTC) protocols, the S412E provides complete testing capabilities for base stations, subscriber units, and backhaul links. Optional GPS support allows real-time outdoor coverage mapping, while indoor environments can be manually tagged via touchscreen.

Its Auto Test and Alignment feature is a game-changer for Motorola P25 subscriber radios, automatically tuning and testing radios to manufacturer specifications. This not only accelerates service workflows but also ensures test reliability.

A vector network analyzer is built in for sweeping cable and antenna systems, featuring distance-to-fault (FDR) measurements to spot impedance mismatches or connector issues. With up to 6 GHz of frequency range (with options), the S412E also provides spectral monitoring, signal quality measurement, and interference hunting.

The analyzer also supports external power sensors, a vector voltmeter, and spectrogram recording, all in a compact, field-ready unit weighing under 9 pounds. Whether it's RF diagnostics, emission mask verification, or burst signal detection, the S412E meets the demands of today’s LMR environments.
